Enter and preview
Enter the watermark text and choose colour, opacity, size and top, centre or bottom position, then check the pages to process. The preview reflects the output position, but the actual look of the text depends on your device's fonts.
Add page numbers
With page numbers checked, each number follows the page's position in the page list; selected pages are not renumbered. Check each page to make sure the watermark doesn't hide important information, especially on small or differently oriented pages.
Save the result
The text is added to the PDF as a transparent image; the original text is unchanged. A purpose watermark only states the intended use and cannot guarantee protection from misuse. To clearly limit how a copy may be used, try the recipient / purpose / date template tool.
